Position wanted
To whom it may concern,
My name is Erin White; I am currently 23 years old from Taranaki. I have grown up with a passion of helping people, and during my high school years I did some voluntary work at a special needs classroom in a high school called Spotswood college in Taranaki. This enabled me to see what I really wanted out of life.
I decided to do a BA in psychology not realizing that there was a social work degree, and completed my BA in May 08 with a B average. I got accepted into a Masters of social work which I will be doing extramurally in 2011, as I was too late for applications in 2010 due to being over in England completing my overseas adventure.
I will be arriving into New Zealand April 2010, I am available for interviews from the 21st of April, I understand this is still two months away but I am very organized and am hoping to get a job in this field which is very difficult as I have found in the past and applications take a while to process. I completed 2 years travelling round England and working for various mental health organisations over here, mainly schools as a special needs teacher aid.
I am looking to start a job that enables me to help out individuals who are less privileged than us, and get them back in to the community living their lives to the best of their abilities and as independently as they can.
